 Fresh food that Guinea Pigs eat are

1. Apples - give only a small slice per pet
2. Carrots/Carrot Peels
3. Cucumber
4. Green Peppers
5. Lettuce very little

In summer, let the guinea pigs eat the grass in the yard.

If you are putting feed or weed control in your lawn, leave a small area without treatment. 

When we first took the guinea pigs into this area, they were frightened to be alone. We would sit with the guinea pigs so if they are frightened they would come hide between our legs or underneath the blanket.

In the garden i see the guinea pigs eat all kinds of weeds and grass. So trying to understand the weeds in the garden as well.
